| Mothers seeking asylum or on work permits after fleeing war, climate collapse, poverty, persecution, rape and other torture often have to leave our children behind. In the UK, mothers face family courts that remove our children, especially if we are poor, single, of colour, disabled, and/or report domestic/sexual violence from the father. Mothers are worried sick when our children lose our protection. Mothers campaigning and using collective self-help will speak about: · Family reunion under immigration law: how to strengthen your case · Family courts: how to stop your children being removed or get them back · Rape & domestic violence: challenging the hostile environment against mothers and children · Working for the NHS & social care: fighting work permits that separate us from our children · News from campaigns around the UK.
