At a Right To Equality awards event in Parliament on 4 November hosted by Marie Tidball MP, our very own Tracey Norton was given a Judges’ Award as Diversity Champion! We’re delighted that Tracey’s dedicated campaigning to stop children being taken from loving mums has been recognised and look forward to many more victories together.

Announcing the award, Lucy Hayton of Right To Equality said:
“The Judges’ Awards are for those who’ve made significant achievements which judges believed must be recognised but they didn’t fit into the categories which were running competitively. The first of our Judges’ Awards goes to Tracey Norton as Diversity Champion. Tracey is co-ordinator of WinVisible’s Disabled Mothers’ Rights Campaign focused on disabled women’s financial independence and recognition of caring work and safety including through family court proceedings. She works and supports mothers with Support Not Separation with particular focus on disabled mothers and mothers accused of Fabricated Induced Illness and parental alienation. Her brave campaigning and support to mums is noted as filling a critical gap in areas too often neglected by mainstream campaigns and services bringing hope and care to visibly and invisibly disabled women.”

We were also honoured to meet Claire Throssell MBE who was awarded Survivor Advocate of the Year. She promised her beloved two sons (killed during court ordered contact) that no other child would suffer as they did. Presumption of contact is being abolished in their memory.
